Michelle’s and Kirralee’s designs used in each painting are focused on the elements of nature. Through figurative and abstract painting, both artists help you explore your connection to the wild elements of fire, water, earth and air in your world.

What you will learn

After demonstrating the basics of colour mixing and colour theory, Michelle takes you through the creation of 4 stunning figurative paintings in acrylics, from start to finish. You will know what colours the artist used, learn colour blending and fine line work, how to sketch in a design and have a downloadable stencil of the design to aid you in your work.

Using watercolour paints and gel pens, Kirralee takes you through 4 attractive abstract mandala paintings from start to finish. You will learn foundational watercolour painting techniques such as colour blending, wet-in-wet and wet-in-dry painting techniques and the use of highlighting contrast gel ink pens.

Both artists take you through each step of the creation process for all 8 paintings, giving you practical advice for when taking on your own projects. You will be given direction at the end of each module which will enable you to practise the techniques and advance your skills to your final painting.
