Ash, Mud & Tears Collection

The paintings, sculptures and artist’s books in Ash, Mud & Tears exhibition were produced in response to the devastating floods of February 2022 and the fires that preceded them in 2019/20 in Northern Rivers.

Working with found objects and materials, as well as wood panels painted in oils and cold wax medium and then cut and rearranged, the work speaks of the disruption and impacts on the landscape and the community from these disaster events.
